Caesars Entertainment has finalized a deal with the Spokane Tribe of Native Americans in Washington to establish a new sports betting shop within the Spokane Tribe Casino.
The store will provide wagering services on a diverse range of sporting events and competitions for casino patrons and will also feature new food and drink choices.
The collaboration will introduce a new sportsbook to the Spokane Tribe Casino, which will leverage Caesar’s betting platform and provide numerous ways to bet on sports.
The initial phase of the new facility’s expansion is anticipated to be finished before the Super Bowl on February 13th.
Spokane Tribe Chairwoman Carol Evans stated, “This partnership is a crucial element in our continuously developing casino as we finalize our first phase of expansion.”
Spokane Tribe Casino General Manager Javier De La Rosa added, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Caesar’s Sportsbook to provide our guests with live sports betting, which will attract new customer types and offer a broader selection of gaming options for all players.”
The partnership follows Washington state’s establishment of new tribal agreements with several tribes, including the Spokane Tribe.
DraftKings received approval to operate in Washington state just last month. They collaborated with the Tulalip Tribes to offer sports wagering at their gaming establishments. The US government authorized this agreement last September.
FanDuel, a subsidiary of Flutter Entertainment, is partnering with the Squaxin Island Tribe’s Clearwater Casino Resort. BetMGM has an agreement with the Puyallup Tribe of Indians to manage sports betting at the Emerald Queen Casino.
International Game Technology (IGT) will supply its PlaySports platform for sports betting at the Angel of the Winds Casino Resort, operated by the Stillaguamish Tribe.
Washington state permits sports betting at casinos, but online betting is only permitted at tribal casinos.
