Golden Matrix Group Starts Trading on Nasdaq
Golden Matrix disclosed earlier that it had received authorization to be listed on Nasdaq and began trading yesterday (March 17).
The provider’s stock is now being traded on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker symbol “GMGI”.
Brian Goodman, Chief Executive Officer of Golden Matrix, said the listing of common stock on Nasdaq is “essential” for the company and will bolster its broader global expansion plans.
“We anticipate the listing to considerably enhance the company’s visibility, broaden our retail and institutional shareholder base, and drive enhanced long-term shareholder value,” Goodman stated.
“Furthermore, we believe this listing will further enhance our capacity to execute our corporate acquisition strategy, targeting accelerated future revenue and profit growth.”
The listing confirmation comes after Golden Matrix also reported record quarterly earnings of $8.6 million (£6.5 million/€7.8 million) for the three months ending January 31, 2022, a 345.0% increase year-on-year, earlier this month.
A substantial portion of the revenue growth was attributed to the acquisition of UK competition brand RKings, which contributed $5.
Following the acquisition of the company in November of 2021, our overall revenue increased by five million dollars.
The agreement also generated an additional $235,246 in interest earnings.
